12,000 People Oppose Call To Ban Funke Felix-Adejumo

12,000 people have joined their voices to counter the petition against Rev. Mrs Funke Adejumo as regards banning her from entering the UK, EU and US.

"The petition to Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party Theresa May MP was started by Mayowa Olaiya on change.org and has gathered 5,373 signatures as at the time of this report. It was in order to stop Rev. Funke Adejumo from “coming to the UK to defraud the people and the country.”" - SelahAfrik

A video that has turned into a web sensation prior to the petition captured where Funke Felix-Adejumo was stating to an assembly to sow a seed of $1,000 for money related upliftment. Different recordings of comparative acts later surfaced.

"The U.S petition was started by Daniel Audu and has gathered over 851 signatures for the petition which is seeking 1000 signatures.

The third petition is by Simon Peter who is trying to stop her from “entering the EU to defraud people and the country.” 144 out of the required 200 people have already signed.

A counter-petition started by Temi Chris-Kuye to Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party Theresa May MP has gathered about 12,609 signatures of 15,000." - SelahAfrik

According to Temi Chris-Kuye, “Call to ban Funke Felix-Adejumo is a direct attack on Christianity.

“Unfounded malicious, defamatory and slanderous accusations are not lawful. Discrimination against a specific religious leader and denomination of a faith is indeed unjust and a prejudicial treatment.

“Article 9 of the Human Rights Act expressly states the freedom of thought, conscience and religion.

“Funke Felix Adejumo is a Christian woman who has dedicated her life to serving humanity- she has built orphanages, Children’s hospital and shelter homes for women fleeing domestic violence.”

Also, a hashtag, #IStandWithFunkeAdejumo, has been launched on Instagram in support of the woman of God who has suffered some criticisms of late.

Notable figures like Tara Durotoye, founder, and CEO of Africa’s Leading Makeup Company, House of Tara, Big Bolaji, Wale Jana, Wilson Joel amongst others are some of the people who are showing love for Rev Adejumo by sharing her impact on their lives.

“Thank you for teaching us how to honor our husbands. You are builder of the most important pillar of the society -The Family! We are better wives because of you. There was a powerful prayer session for our children that was shared on a mother’s Whatsapp group . So powerful; so encouraging and full of hope. Thank you Ma. We honour you. If you have learnt about family life and how to be a Good wife from this matriarch please share with me. #istandwithfunkeadejumo.” -  Tara Durotoye

Wale Jana shared on his instagram page;

"I will tell you a story; about 3 years ago, I was in a taxi in Dubai with my wife and daughter, I looked out of the window and standing in front of a mall was Pastor Mrs Felix Adejumo, I told the driver to park!  I went flat on the floor while my wife knelt down and we told the cab man who was a Nigerian to take her anywhere she wanted to go, she refused but we insisted and as she entered the cab, she looked at me and said "God will honour you" from that day, honor followed me. You see if it remains 1 second for me to be put to shame, God ALWAYS shows up!

For the fools complaining about seed sowing,  ANYTIME she calls for seeds, I come out and I am sure most of the idiots making noise are not doing half of what God is using me to do. They are still hungry riffraffs.  @ffadejumo Mummy Adejumo is a woman of God and a woman of integrity. May God punish all haters.  #IstandwithFunkeAdejumo"
