The LEAD is an annual event hosted by the Human Resources Development Ministry (HRDM) of Global Harvest Church, Liberty Road, Ibadan. It is organised to help both job seekers & professionals in the corporate world and entrepreneurs acquire information and skills that can help them advance their career and businesses to the next level.
This year's event is however only aimed at equipping graduates, job seekers and young professionals with requisite information and knowledge that can help them maximise the limited employment opportunities available and will be instrumental in helping them get their dream jobs and desired career advancement/moves in the corporate world.
With speakers and panellists from diverse sectors of the economy and are senior management employees in leading multinationals across the country, the LEAD ‘18 is bringing together heavy weights with immense hands-on recruitment experience and will be packed with keynotes, talks, panel session, one-to-one interactions, networking opportunities and more. We will be focusing on Recruitment & Talent Sourcing Approach in the 21st Century and the event is tagged “Be Visible & Sought After” and is put together to help participants acquire the right capabilities at seeking and landing their desired job in today’s diverse, complex, and fast-changing business environments.
Just imagine how it would feel to finally be visible enough to your desired employers and your profile catchy enough to make them reach out to you OR to find that “one” solution that will help you succeed at the various elimination processes adopted in recruitment.
It will be holding on 18th August 2018 at Jogor Event Centre, Liberty Road, Ibadan from 10am to 3pm due to ongoing construction works at the Church Auditorium.
The day will be set in motion with one of our speakers talking briefly about “Pursuing One’s Dream & Realizing Our Full Potential”. We would then have an HR veteran speak on Recruitment & Talent Sourcing Approach in the 21st Century with specific emphasis on “Positioning (Visibility) Self to be found out & Stimulating (CV/Resume/Profile) Budding Curiosity in Potential Employers/Recruiters” and a panel session with the panellists providing valuable insights on “Succeeding at the Recruitment Process- Culture Assessment/Interviews/Assessment Centre/Long Silence/Offer Negotiation (From Contact to Offer Acceptance” and also help provide responses to some questions from the participants during the session.
Also, there will opportunities to have interactions with representative of recruitment agencies to understand better their requirements and available opportunities.
We are more than assured our participants will have a lot to gain from this event and success stories will abound afterwards.
