A native of Ago-Iwoye in Ogun State, Mike grew up with his parents and four siblings. As the first child he was made responsible for inspiring his younger ones so he always had to be a good example to them. That was a lot of work because it didn't allow him to just be a child who could make mistakes. Expectation was high and he could only do his best. It made growing up tough for him but he scaled through.
