.......Joy like a river in my heart I've got, having this opportunity to share and voyage together through the passage of knowledge.
Of truth it isn't controversial but couple of different school of thought has been submitted when it comes to the subject matter MUSIC. Ranging from:
Music is a tool for comic relief
Music is the only universal language
Music is .............and so on, but I must make it unequivocal that all those are very right because music is actually and intrinsic art and act that play a major (indispensable) role in the life of everyone whether directly or indirectly.
To be concise and placing a definite meaning on the table of a lame man,
In order words, combining sounds from different sources or means will not be enough to make music but in a form that is agreeable to the hearing, I mean to hear and enjoy. Whatever sound combination that does not satisfy such is a NOISE and therefore negates the music intention or motives.
Research has established that music in its complete sense is the only artistic activity whose effect on human emotion can make or mar his/her total existence, (no matter where you come from) depending on the type of music and the message it portrays.
This means we have enormous types of music, depending on the basis of classification:
Sacred music (religious)
Cultural music
Secular music.
And going by the groove pattern a music makes, we can classify music as:
Contemporary music
Classical music
Accapella music.
The virtue of each of these types of music is appreciated by different types of people, locations and what they believe in.
