SUCCESS: A Process And A Journey

The path to success is not a straight path. If yours is, please check again.. Something is wrong somewhere. The success path is a zigzag one which has many learning curves, stops/pauses and bends.

This is the  case because God will not compromise growth, process and development. Remember; a man must first be carried, crawl, attempt several times to stand, then hold a support, then takes the first step and falls, then tries again, falls until he/she is able to walk one step at a time and then stagger.

After several attempts, he/she starts to walk unaided, without support ,instinctively. Each of these stages are pivotal in the development of a baby to becoming an adult. Similarly in life, you can't jump the class! If you jump or skip a class, it will soon be obvious to all ... it's just a matter of time.

This is true because you will automatically lack capacity or have inadequate ability to cope with the compulsory issues of life that you are meant to face. Normally, there are learning curves or zig zags but if you are not teachable, then the zig zags will be more.

To be a true, reliable and trustworthy wife, husband, leader, mentor and coach;

- you must first BECOME; its called the Period of BEING, where you become,
- you must DO; practice who you are.

Haven done correctly, these two stated above;

- you must be qualified to teach, mother, father, mentor, coach.

Without passing through the three stages stated above, we will only have half-baked fathers, mothers, husbands, wives, mentors, coaches etc leading to INSTABILITY in the society.

The learning curves is naturally full of Betrayal, Rejection, Pain, Opposition etc. These will not just come from strangers but most of it will be coming from loved ones. Remember its not PAIN unless its coming from a loved one.

All these lead to a paradigm shift, maturity, capacity building and increased ability to cope with life and its issues whether caused by you or not. Trials, problems have been known to be INEVITABLE and needed to bring out the value that we have always carried on our inside.

A wise person was initially foolish, a successful person was initially a failure and became successful after accepting and embracing his/her failures.

In conclusion, we need to start glorifying our problems, challenges and trials...Why??

Because they are the GATEWAYS TO SUCCESSES in our lives.

Thank you for reading and come back for the next episode next Sunday. Till then, keep going after your dreams!
