Music producer, Wilson Joel has taken to social media to play his part in resetting the mindset of people in our generation.
A lot of us measure success by riches and it's a virus that has eaten deep down into everyone whether consciously or unconsciously. Wilson Joel lamented on instagram earlier today on this issue and his words are resounding!
"What this thing will cause in our generation! Damnnnnn!" He cried out.
"Don't mistake social media followership as proof of success. Because people are screaming your name today don't mean you're successful ~ Being popular & fulfilled is never the same.
The most frustrated and depressed people are found amongst the very popular folks. In fact let me shock you, because you have money [lots of it] doesn't mean you're successful.
Success is a life so fulfilled that money is the last thing on your mind. It's the least thing that can control you.
By all #LEGIT means Get #MONEY don't let it get you because #IMAGE IS ACTUALLY NOT #EVERYTHING.
