“I Don’t do super long posts but I’m going to today so bear with me. Sometimes you gotta shut up and listen to God. Close your eyes and walk by faith. For the first time in a while I’m joyful and free. Took a while to get here. From 2015-2017 I was on a rollercoaster. Doubt, depression, anger, shame, hate, hurt, and on and on. When I made my album I didn’t title it “All Things Work Together” because I believed it...but because I NEEDED to believe it. God has allowed me to journey thru the pain and come out on the other side better, wiser, stronger, and more confident in who He created me to be. My life has been a unique journey ( I could go from the Hip Hop Awards to Hillsong in a day) but that’s MY LIFE lol! No hiding or running from it. Despite gossip, rumors, or misunderstandings, I’m not choosing race over faith, Secular over sacred... I’m choosing to follow Jesus in every area of my life. It’s not simple, it’s not black & white. It’s colorful and nuanced. It’s beautifully complicated and that leads to an immense amount of faith and trust. There have been a lot of missteps but even more mercy. My failures have led to stronger faith.  I’m sure I’ll continue growing and changing as we all should. Ultimately I just want to thank everyone of you who have supported me thru it all. Your letters, messages, prayers, and support and GRACE has given me life. I’m walking into a new chapter of life and excited about it! I have everlasting hope and that’s enough to weather ANY storm.”
