"God's Word Is Criticized The Most By Those Who Read It The Least" - Majid Michel

With news of popular celebrities like Justin Beiber, Weird MC, Lynxx, Tonto Dikeh, Majid Michel amongst others turning to the Lord and evangelising publicly without shame, it really looks like God is raising soldiers for himself amongst our well known celebrities and we are so excited about the revolution.

Ghanian movie star, Majid Michele who for a whole now has been going around preaching the Good News which is the gospel of Christ penned a short but profound sermon to Christians via his instagram page on Sunday, 30th July when he addressed the issue of criticisms of the Bible.

His post reads:

“Jeremiah 23:16 ...This is what the LORD Almighty says: “Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD.

Matthew 24:24 ...For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

2 Timothy 4:3-4 NIV ...For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

Acts 20:28-30 NIV ...Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them.  #LEADERSHiP”

Majid is simply reminding the church that God has placed upon our shoulder, great responsibilities to keep watch over everyone around us. With whatever you do, in whichever office you hold, you have the responsibility of overseeing people around you, leading them to the Lord and tending those who are already saved, helping them to grow in faith and knowledge of the word of God.

Like Kenny K'ore would say; read your Bible, meditate, pray, trust and obey God. Selah!
