Off his just released debut album "Saint Or Sinner", and succeeding a public declaration of love between himself and Brandy on instagram yesterday, Sir The Baptist releases new song titled 'Deliver Me' featuring one of R&B’s most talented vocalists, Brandy who happens to be his lover!
‘Deliver Me’, produced by Sir himself was inspired by a true story of his sister suffering physical abuse at the hands of the church deacon who was also her husband. He shared in the song:
"I remember my sister Mary would get beaten by her husband who was the deacon in the church and the whole church knew but no one would say anything but I remember clearly she was in the kitchen washing dishes and she would encourage herself quietly cos she didn't want to start anything. She'll say - Lord, deliver me cos all he seems to do is hurt me 😢🙏"
Sir went on to advise every listener to save someone from depression saying;
"If you know anyone dealing with this, pull out your phone and text them "I Love You" even if you got the song on repeat".
This song will make you want to cry cos it's 100% emotional so, be prepared.
