Debby Olutimehin (fondly called Mayoress) which implies a Mayoress of the king as He, God is the Mayor- was born in Lagos state Nigeria but hails from Ondo state. She started singing from a tender age, and has passion for music.
She graduated from Unilag with a B.A in Russian studies and also bagged a Diploma in English Language and other professional certifications.
She grew up listening to lots of music genres and the likes of Ebenezar Obe, Sunny Ade, Onyeka Onwenu to mention a few then in the recent years she listened to Kore, Nathaniel Bassey, Pita, Sinach and also singers like Asa just to mention a few.
Added to her training, she has backed up for the likes of Nosa, Femi Micah, Freke Umoh, Dare Justified, Bola Udom, Bunmi Sax, Obiwon to mention a few.
Many years back, she was in a gospel group consisting of only females called the "incomparable" before it disbanded for other various life missions and aspirations. This experience of hers and many others shaped her into the strong singer and minister she is today to the GLORY OF GOD.
Her desire is to present lives with music that would not only bless but transform and help them see God in another new light and dimension.
Her debut single titled "Your Name" is a song you would not only love but will be a blessing to many lives and generations.
