Kanye West takes it to church with Ultralight Prayer. The hymn-like rendition features an uplifting sermon from Kirk Franklin and vocals from Kelly Price.
“Father, this prayer is for everyone that feels they’re not good enough / This prayer is for everybody that feels that they’re too messed up,” says Franklin.
“Ultralight Prayer” is an extension to The Life Of Pablo song “Ultralight Beam”.
Kirk Franklin received huge criticism from coming in this collaboration but the music minister who is bent on spreading the love of Christ emphasised that Christ didn't turn away from those the Pharisees classified as sinner but instead, drew them unto himself that they might be partakers also of the Light.
