Good afternoon sir. You're welcome to 'Mit Me' Pricherman116 Blog's exclusive interview session. Can we get to know you sir?

(Smiles) I am iyanuoluwa Ayomitunde Uji Popularly Known as Anointedmallam.

You're welcome. My first question is this? Why do you comedians provoke people every time? What has an Aboki got to do with anointing? Is he Daddy G.O.? Kindly share with us what the brand means and How you came up with the idea of 'Anointed Mallam'

(Smiles) Chai. The name came from my friends in school they called me Aboki in my jss1. Though I’ve changed my stage name about five times. At a point, I was tired of changing the stage name and I decided to pray about it and God gave me Anointed I decided to change from Aboki to mallam...and the Brand name came (AnointedMallam).

Kindly share with us your childhood and educational background?

My Brother my childhood was a Good one o. Thank God I didn't roll tyre But I did Daddy & Mummy. Anyways  Growing up was fun & as for my Educational Background; I went to one of the best schools in Ibadan. Lol...for my primary school I studied @ Ebire creche  Nicety & Primary school Felele Ibadan, for my secondary, I went To Atanda International High school.. Those schools made me do comedy.

Great. How did you discover this talent that God has deposited in you?

I discovered my talent when I was 13 years old. In school. I used to make my friends laugh in class. So from there I started performing for my school's valedictory service and so on.. Na So I start.

After discovering your talent, you started to work on it before you got where you are now. What challenges did you face?

Challenges I've faced...I think challenges like going up stage & that moment when the whole crowd is expecting a lot from you & you just blow it up. You talk and nobody laughs. Not even the rats in the area . But we thank God for life, Now I talk and I Get standing ovations.

Talking about getting ovations now... When was your worse and best moment doing comedy? How did you feel both times?

Lol. My Best Moment was when a  late Comedian (Samco) took me to an Event in Lautech school it was a 1k lecture theater & I was d smallest among all d comedians, I was so scared buh when I got up stage I killed it & I got my first ovation ever. My worse was when I was invited as a guest minister in a church in Ibadan, I dressed to kill. When I was invited up stage, nobody even clasped & my jokes were as dry as crayfish, not even the small children laughed. Felt really bad but all Glory to God.

Lol... Glory to God. I've learned a little that you're close to church and It's activities. Most times, you guys are invited to events alongside circular artistes. How do you manage the kind of job you do and your Christian Faith?

Yes cos the bible says God First...& Its all by God's grace..i just try to maintain my christian life & I watch the  utterances I make...buh basically I could go for an outside job and preach the Gospel there.

Apart from being inspired by God and your gift, are there certain people you look up to as your role models/mentors?

Basically I look up to God First, then I look up to Owen Gee, HolyMallam..

Do you have any projects you're working on at present?

Yes working on my Skits ...& also working on a church Tour (Comedy & Praise)... Let's keep our hands crossed.

That reminds me. You recently staged a concert 'Explosive Sunday' and I think It's the second edition. What birthed the idea?

Yes the idea came from me... I just had to find a Brand name for my event (Explosive Sunday). I had to think deep..and the name Explosive Sunday came. I have staged Explosive Sunday 1&2. Watch out for (Explosive Sunday My Church Tour).

Great. Do you have any piece of advice for aspiring and upcoming comedians and youths in general?

Yes...for everyone out there..pls stick to your game. Never give up & stay focused. Never take NO for an answer. Be positive always .
