Foundation means the starting of a thing. Every building has a foundation. We are God's building. 1 Corinthians 3:9
Foundation is the base of every structure. Foundation is also said be beginning or source of every structure / building.
Foundation differs from structure to structure. The higher & greater your structure, the stronger your foundation. What determines whether a structure will stand a test of time is the foundation.
There are two types of Foundation:
1. Rocky Foundation
2. Sandy Foundation
Every Foundation will face a test. The strength of a house in It's Foundation. Some people build with gold, some with silver and some with straw. We all will be tested with fire here on earth and in heaven. Will your building stand when it's tested with fire?
Matthew 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Matthew 7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
What one person goes through and he falls, another goes through the same and he remains on his feet. Are you a wise builder or the foolish one? Are you a hearer alone or a doer too?
It does not matter the material used. If the foundation is faulty, the structure will not stand the test of time. Your foundation goes a long way to determine your destiny.
Psalm 11:3a says "if the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do?"
The righteous can rebuild with the help of God. In Jesus name, every faulty foundation shall receive the touch of the master builder. Amen.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Only Jesus is the sure foundation. All other grounds is sinking sound. Confess your sins today and let God take charge over your life. Happy Sunday. Stay blessed.
